This piece is a surreal dreamscape inspired by childlike imagination and the mysterious magic of the desert. Cowgirls and Aliens is a tribute to curiosity, wonder, and the wild, untamed spirit that lives in all of us.

The design unfolded slowly—bit by bit over the course of a year—each element arriving intuitively, like a memory from a dream. It began with a vision of a vintage pin-up cowgirl on a UFO and grew into a cosmic Western filled with layered symbolism: planets and butterflies, abductions and blooming desert flowers, otherworldly creatures, and grounded earthly elements.

The piece reflects my love for storytelling and spontaneity. Every detail—from the floating cows to the constellation map and psychedelic marbling—invites the viewer to pause, smile, and remember what it feels like to imagine without limits. The desert is a place of silence and secrets, and this piece captures that strange balance between the sacred and the silly, the mythic and the mundane.

It’s a celebration of play, freedom, and creative exploration—no rules, no logic, just the joy of creating what feels right.
